COMMERCIALS

This is a short list of the more interesting commercial music tracks composed, conducted and recorded by Howard Blake for television, cinema and radio, selected from over 200 projects.

Many of the film directors with whom he has worked learnt their craft in making what were often brilliant miniatures and Howard attributes much of his skill in orchestration and synchronising music to film to his experience gained in this area.

In general music for commercials is not available, although 'Lakme', used by British Airways for more than 20 years, has become globally famous and is available in many versions on commercial recordings.
