Howard created this new version of the song at the request of  Aled Jones and his record company Universal. The original EMI track of him singing as a treble in 1985 is superimposed with a new counter-melody composed by Howard who co-produced the track and the recording was released in November 2006 on an album called 'You raise me up'.
