A Christmas song for SATB choir (extract from 'All God's Creatures' a song-cycle for SATB chorus and orchestra, see op.651)
Originally created as one of the songs in the collection ‘All God’s Creatures’ composed for large children’s chorus and orchestra commissioned by The Guildford Philharmonic Orchestra to celebrate their 50th anniversary in 1994. The first two performances were given in Guildford Cathedral on consecutive nights conducted by the composer with two separate choirs of 800 Surrey school-children.
